Overview
A scanner that runs in a browser, made for designers and image-makers who want scans that were actually scanned rather than images filtered afterwards.
The first version was just an effect and it was boring, because a scan is interesting for when it happens rather than how it looks, so I rebuilt it as a head that moves down the page reading whatever is on the glass right then, which turned it from something you apply into something you do with your hands while it runs. Then I put the failures back in on purpose, because a jammed head that keeps filling the page is what throws everything below it out of line, and glass that drags your photos along under the lamp is what makes an arrangement drift even when you never touch it. The paper tray came last and it is the part people argue with, twenty sheets refilling at twenty an hour, since unlimited paper just hands you four hundred near-identical files and leaves you to find the good one.
